Does the party selling the equipment have anyone in my area able to maintain and service the installation?

We have two trained technicians available on Maui available for maintenance on the webcam. We also have an extended network of technicians that we work with across the country. We can always coordinate service and installation. In the event of equipment failure, the unit has to be sent to our location in San Diego, California for repair. Webcam hardware comes with a year warranty.

What is the recommended maintenance and frequency?

We have many cameras installed and maintenance is rare. We usually only have to return to the site to install webcam upgrades. In the event of equipment failure, we would return (at your request) to remove and re-install equipment. We do recommend asking someone on-site to clean the camera housing. The housing does get dirty, not unlike any window.

If local service is not available, where could the equipment be repaired?

It is possible that something on your equipment could break. If this happens, the equipment can be sent to Dotworkz for repair. Webcam hardware comes with a year warranty.

Would it be necessary to have both an electrician and a camera technician involved to dismantle and reinstall the equipment?

An electrician can be needed for the initial prep of the location. Webcams require electricity. It is possible that an electrician can both install (and uninstall) the cam for you. This depends on the electricians qualifications. We have technicians available if needed. We utilize Dotworkz for the “dismantle and repair.”

What is the expected life of the camera?

The manufacturer places webcam life at 5 years. However, we have clients that have been running the same cam hardware for seven years. Their webcam equipment is still completely functional.

What is the history of the firm who will maintain the website? Can we cancel the contract? What is the length of commitment?

We have a robust client list and a great reputation. However, you can switch webcam hosting service providers if you choose to do so, there are a number of providers available.

The proposed location of mounting the camera provides excellent vistas. The negative is the direct exposure to all the elements from the ocean, salt air, moisture, wind, sun, rain. Other cams are mounted under the roof overhang plus it is located further from the ocean eliminating or diminishing some of the potential problems. How do we know that our webcam will withstand the elements?

We will recommended a webcam that is ideal for your coast conditions. Your housing should keep your cam in good repair (whether mounted on the roof or under a balcony); we just recommend cleaning it on a regular basis.

How does Ozolio achieve "unlimited simultaneous viewers"?
