Animal Hospital
Animal Hospital Cam offers a fascinating live look at wildlife at Connecticut's Beardsley Zoo in Bridgeport, Connecticut, where viewers may catch a glimpse of one of the zoo's most adorable residents — the endangered red panda.
The zoo recently celebrated a historic milestone with the birth of its first-ever red panda cub on June 24, 2026. Named Pabu, meaning "fluffball" in Tibetan, the little male was born to Ponya and Pilot as part of an important conservation breeding program.
Red pandas are fascinating creatures native to the Himalayan forests. Despite their name, they are not closely related to giant pandas. Their thick, bushy tails help them balance while climbing and provide warmth during cold weather. These tree-dwelling animals spend much of their day resting and can sleep for more than 12 hours!
Connecticut's Beardsley Zoo plays an important role in wildlife conservation, helping protect endangered species through education, research, and specialized animal care.
Watch the live stream to discover charming animal behaviors and enjoy a unique window into the world of wildlife conservation.
