Brown Bear Exhibit, Kodiak Ridge - Toledo Zoo
Toledo Zoo & Aquarium
Toledo Zoo Brown Bear Pool Cam offers live, real-time views of the brown bears at Kodiak Ridge, one of Toledo Zoo’s most impressive and immersive wildlife habitats. This exhibit spans approximately 14,000 square feet and is designed to reflect the rugged natural environments where brown bears live in the wild, giving them space to roam, explore, and display natural behaviors.
A major highlight of Kodiak Ridge is the large 5,000-gallon pool, where the bears can swim, cool off, and show their surprising agility in the water. Visitors may also notice features such as a cave-like resting area and interactive enrichment spaces that encourage movement and curiosity throughout the day.
Toledo Zoo is home to multiple rescued bears, including grizzly sisters Cody and Montana, orphaned in Yellowstone National Park, and Dodge, a massive Kodiak brown bear originally from Alaska. Their stories help raise awareness about wildlife conservation and the challenges bears face as habitats change and human development expands.
This live webcam is perfect for wildlife fans, families, and animal lovers who want to observe bear behavior up close, from swimming and splashing in the pool to resting, exploring, and interacting with their environment in real time.
